Both races start together, group start. We ask competitors who aspire to the podium to stand in the front rows at the start of the race. Note: in the first 3km the trail is wide, overtaking is possible. After that, the Horvat's trail starts, narrow and rocky, and leads all the way to the Schlosser mountain hut (8.2km).

Along with the start number (race bib) the competitor also receives a chip for electronic timing (integrated into the race bib). The race bib must be worn during the entire race, on the on the upper body, at the front, must not be covered and must be clearly visible (not allowed to wear it on the legs, on the back/backpack or on the side). - On the trail itself, as well as in the finish line, there are devices for reading the passing time of competitors. If the number is not set as we indicated, there is a high probability that the chip will not be registered, as well as the passing time / result.
aid stations / plastic cups
There are no disposable plastic cups at refreshment stations. Each competitor should have their own water bottle / silicone cup in order to be able to consume the drink found at the aid station.
